Installation
1. Turn off the computer. Disconnect the AC power supply and any other cables from the unit. Remove the cover from the computer chassis.
2. Plug the 110 Alert into an unused power supply drive connector (use a "Y" if needed).
3. Peel off the 110 Alert's adhesive backing and mount the unit near the top of the PC on any convenient smooth surface. Caution: Do not locate near a high-heat source like the CPU or co-processor since this may result in a nuisance alarm.
4. Replace the computer cover.
Operation
The 110 Alert monitors interior case ambient temperature. This alarm will subside when the temperature drops below 110°F (40°C). Note: Contact us for a replacement unit in the event the alarm sounds continuously after power-up and you have properly connected it in the computer. You may have a processor cooling fan that requires our alternate mode.
