Silencer 750 Quad Black (Recertified)
"The 750W Silencer is recognised as one of the most reliable stable power supplies available today. In terms of heat dissipation, the Silencer does a good job of keeping itself and its neighbours cool. Rock steady operation is a warranted association with PC Power and Cooling products and the Silencer 750 is no exception. All the features you could ask for are included such as active PFC, automatic fan speed control circuitry and a 5-year warranty. The SLI certification has undoubtedly helped. The Silencer is, in a way, a box filled with peace of mind."

Silencer 750 Quad Red (Recertified)
"We were really impressed by this power supply. Efficiency was one of the highlights of this product during our tests. If you pull up to 80% of its labeled capacity you will have at least 85% efficiency, peaking almost 90% when you pull 40% of its capacity. Even when we overloaded it efficiency was still above 80%. It is a very quiet power supply if you run it below its maximum capacity.Featuring a 5-year warranty, four video card power cables and a sufficient number of peripheral power connectors, this product is perfect for high-end users looking for a power supply on the 750 W-850 W range. "By using only a single 80mm fan for cooling, the Silencer 750 Quad PUS was found to be very quiet. If it wasn’t for the 2900 XT’s, that can sound like a hair dryer at times, I would not have known the system was on. The cabling was long enough to reach all the places I need it to go in the Ultra M998 case and still be some what hidden. The Silencer 750 Quad is a very capable power supply for mid-rage systems. "

"The power supply itself sports some impressive features, such as an 825 Watts peak, but it is more rated at a reasonable 750 Watts @ 40° C. This yields 83% efficiency with .99 power factor correction (PFC). The 12-Volt DC output is an impressive 60 Amps on a single rail. As we said earlier, the unit is certified for both ATI Crossfire and NVIDIA SLI use. The internal build quality is excellent. In real world testing of the Silencer 750 Quad that lasted over a month, we noticed very little movement in the voltage output. The Silencer 750 Quad in our HD 2900 XT equipped system was more than up to the task of powering the video card, 3 hard drives, 2 optical drives, as well everything else in our system. Under heavy load, the fan did spin up a bit during marathon gaming sessions, but the noise from the HD 2900 XT video card was louder than that of the Silencer 750 Quad. The Silencer 750 Quad did what it was advertised to do, which is to provide clean and stable power to our system with no problems whatsoever. Given that this is a reality, we can recommend the Silencer 750 Quad as an excellent product that is able to perform well in a variety of situations. "

"Using the Silencer turned out to be a breeze. PC Power & Cooling made great efforts to keep the Silencer true to its name: silent. PC Power & Cooling made great efforts to keep the Silencer true to its name: silent. The Silencer Quad performed the best out of any PSU I have ever owned. Not only are the voltages all quite accurate, but they are extremely consistent as well even when stressed on an overclocked, Crossfire enabled system. The single rail design took the cake and really impressed us today."
  Overclock Intelligence Agency

"You can’t pass by this power supply uninterested. It is painted a bright red color, which is most unusual for PC power supplies. The Silencer 750 from PC Power & Cooling is an excellent PSU for people who really need a high-wattage power source. Besides superb electrical characteristics, a somewhat unusual appearance and a full selection of cables, it features a very quiet operation at low and medium loads, which is not a common attribute of high-wattage PSUs.PC Power & Cooling deserves to be on the podium with its quiet, powerful, stable and pretty-looking Silencer 750. if you are looking for a really high-wattage PSU, you should definitely consider this one."

"We start with one of the most respected brands on the market. We tested the Silencer 750 QUAD from PC Power & Cooling not too long ago and were pleased with the results. Its performance and high quality make for a very good purchase that no user would regret. The 5-years warranty is simply the cherry on top of a sweet overall package. The different versions of this unit are all internally the same, and only the color (red, black, or copper) changes. If you want something that will last through several system upgrades, the Silencer 750 is more than enough for today's applications and systems."
