Silencer 500 EPS12V
"From these tests we see some pretty solid performance. The 3.3V line was rock solid during testing, and the 5V and 12V lines stayed relatively consistent. Most people wouldn't expect a quad-core rig with Crossfire graphics cards to run well on 500W, but the Silencer is a testament to the fact that it can with a high quality power supply. The Silencer stays true to its name, as it stayed very quiet throughout all testing. Because PC Power & Cooling puts an inch of space in front of the fan, there is very little air turbulence within the unit, keeping the air movement over the fan very quiet. Given its performance and silence, it's definitely a great bang for the buck, and earns the OCIA.net Seal of Approval."

"The Silencer 500 leaves a great impression when it comes to external appearance and packaging. The build quality is very good as always. From the performance side of the equation, the power supply does well. The efficiency is also good, reaching up to 86% with 230VAC and up to 84% with 120VAC. In terms of pricing, we have the next surprise, as the Silencer 500 will be a bargain (relatively speaking). PCP&C is known for being more expensive than competing models, but this time they're competitive with similar quality 500W offerings."

Silencer 610 EPS12V
"The Silencer 610W is yet another exceptional high performance PSU coming from PC Power & Cooling. For those who care about the electrical performance of a PSU above all else the Silencer 610W will be a very satisfactory choice. It is one of the most stable units we have ever tested and will not show any sign of instability even during very large changes on its load and it also is very efficient. Another strong point of the Silencer 610W is the unreasonably good acoustics performance as the unit is extremely silent despite being cooled by a small 80mm fan. The Silencer 610W EPS12V unit on the other hand is very reasonably priced and is one of the cheapest units available in the 600-700W range making it a very sweet deal for people who want a high performance unit and the aesthetics are a secondary factor. Taking everything into account, we believe that the PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610W EPS12V unit rightfully earns our Editors Choice."

Silencer 750 Quad (Blue)
"We were really impressed by this power supply. Efficiency was one of the highlights of this product during our tests. If you pull up to 80% of its labeled capacity you will have at least 85% efficiency, peaking almost 90% when you pull 40% of its capacity. Even when we overloaded it efficiency was still above 80%. It is a very quiet power supply if you run it below its maximum capacity.Featuring a 5-year warranty, four video card power cables and a sufficient number of peripheral power connectors, this product is perfect for high-end users looking for a power supply on the 750 W-850 W range. "

"By using only a single 80mm fan for cooling, the Silencer 750 Quad PUS was found to be very quiet. If it wasn’t for the 2900 XT’s, that can sound like a hair dryer at times, I would not have known the system was on. The cabling was long enough to reach all the places I need it to go in the Ultra M998 case and still be some what hidden. The Silencer 750 Quad is a very capable power supply for mid-rage systems. "

"The power supply itself sports some impressive features, such as an 825 Watts peak, but it is more rated at a reasonable 750 Watts @ 40° C. This yields 83% efficiency with .99 power factor correction (PFC). The 12-Volt DC output is an impressive 60 Amps on a single rail. As we said earlier, the unit is certified for both ATI Crossfire and NVIDIA SLI use. The internal build quality is excellent. In real world testing of the Silencer 750 Quad that lasted over a month, we noticed very little movement in the voltage output. The Silencer 750 Quad in our HD 2900 XT equipped system was more than up to the task of powering the video card, 3 hard drives, 2 optical drives, as well everything else in our system. Under heavy load, the fan did spin up a bit during marathon gaming sessions, but the noise from the HD 2900 XT video card was louder than that of the Silencer 750 Quad. The Silencer 750 Quad did what it was advertised to do, which is to provide clean and stable power to our system with no problems whatsoever. Given that this is a reality, we can recommend the Silencer 750 Quad as an excellent product that is able to perform well in a variety of situations. "

"Using the Silencer turned out to be a breeze. PC Power & Cooling made great efforts to keep the Silencer true to its name: silent. PC Power & Cooling made great efforts to keep the Silencer true to its name: silent. The Silencer Quad performed the best out of any PSU I have ever owned. Not only are the voltages all quite accurate, but they are extremely consistent as well even when stressed on an overclocked, Crossfire enabled system. The single rail design took the cake and really impressed us today."
